英国机械工程师协会（IMechE）英国机械工程师协会（The Institution of Mechanical Engineers，IMechE）成立于1847年，是英国最早的机械工程以及相关领域的学协会，在全球120个国家拥有约120,000多名会员，从事行业包括航空航天、航海、汽车、铁路、医学、电力和建筑行业等多元化领域。在其发展史中不乏世界最优秀的工程师和科学家。
IMechE数据库全面涵盖航天工程、海洋工程、振动与控制、自动控制和机器人、仿真学、汽车工程、发动机研究、医学工程等以及材料科学领域。
现刊库包括18种机械工程领域的顶级期刊（可访问年限：1997年至今），内容几乎涵盖了该领域的所有主题。其中17种期刊收录于2015年JCR期刊引证报告。
英国机械工程师学会回溯库（Archives of the Proceedings: 1847-1996年）提供自1847年至1996年由英国机械工程师学会出版的超过20万页、独一无二的学会回溯文献的电子访问。包括科技论文、工作报告、会议报告、技术图纸以及社论评论等，涵盖了在人类工程学发展历史中最具影响力和最富创造力的那些重要时代的成果。
